La Primavera was my 1st composition and was written in 2001 when I was doing lots of gigs in Brighton but always playing classical music.

One night at a gig at The Greys, a lady told me she was a healer and would like to help me with my tight shoulders and said there was no charge so I went along. I was developing an interest in healing at the time and was intrigued but not prepared for the profound experience that happened! My shoulders were really helped and after a couple of sessions she told me I should be writing my own music. She told me to go home, do a meditation with the intention of writing music and to ask for help and La Primavera was the result – the whole piece just arrived in full!

Terry Pack came into the studio and came up with the double bass part.
